Its about 3 AM on a Tuesday "morning" and my friend Chuck showed me this site were I can post stuff and people might look at it and tell me what they think. At first I was wary because I had tried this on facebook and it didn’t seem to go over too well. Maybe that’s because facebook is not he forum for writing an online journal. To start this off I would like to post some of the quotes I feel are relevant to my life, being that I try to use them to guide my daily behavior. Sometimes I don’t always succeed but that doesn’t mean I have to stop trying.

For the human race life is a ceaseless competition for power, for fame, even love. But when the desire for victory is reduced to winning at any cost, then we can only guarantee our defeat.

If our lives are indeed the sum total of the choices we've made, then we cannot change who we are. But with every new choice we're given, we can change who we're going to be.

Before we allow ourselves to be consumed by our regrets, we should remember the mistakes we make in life are not so important as the lessons we draw from them.

The true measure of a hero is when a man lays down his life with the knowledge that those he saves... will never know.
